Qualified Forensic Risk Assessor (field based)

Owing to demand we now urgently require qualified risk assessors to undertake forensic risk assessments and treatment programmes
with children, adolescents and adults.

Independent Family Support Worker (field based)

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work as an independent family support worker on behalf of WillisPalmer. We have a number of different projects that require input from support workers. The work ranges from being part of a multi-disciplinary team working with families to individual case support work where you will advise, assist and befriend adults with complex needs. All work will be offered on a case-by-case basis. We pay £12-£15 an hour plus travel expenses.

Successful applicants will be confident, have an organised and methodical approach, be a good team member, and have excellent observational and communication skills with a high standard of written and verbal English.

You will need to have experience in working with children and families, a relevant NVQ level three (or equivalent) plus an understanding of safeguarding and relevant legislation. You will also need:

  • Knowledge of issues affecting children and their families such as substance misuse, domestic violence, mental health problems, school exclusion and offending behaviour
  • The ability to work flexibly
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • To be registered as a Limited Company or UK based Umbrella Company.

Independent Social Worker (field based)

Due to expansion WillisPalmer are looking to recruit Independent Social Workers across the United Kingdom. We are in the process of developing new projects and as a consequence need creative, innovative and flexible individuals with at least seven years post qualifying social work experience to join us.  We are particularly interested in hearing from people who have experience in the following areas:

  • Parenting assessments
  • Hold the PAMS accreditation
  • Fostering and adoption
  • Mental health and domestic violence specialist services
  • Trainers who deliver courses on a broad range of subjects related to children and families
  • Domestic violence and/or sexual abuse
