Independent Family Support Worker

WillisPalmer is actively recruiting a national network of Family Support Workers to enable us to meet a growing demand of multi-disciplinary assessments requiring an element of family support or a stand alone family support service.

Essential Requirements

When applying please make sure you meet the minimum criteria detailed below and remember all applications are subject to completion of a case study, interviews and checks:

  • Registered as a limited company, or with a UK based umbrella company (we cannot work with sole traders)
  • Have a track record of exceptional, high-quality work.
  • Be fluent in English

In addition:

  • Social Workers must have a degree or Diploma in Social Work, all regulatory documents and relevant and relatable experience.
  • Psychologists must have a practising certificate, all regulatory documents and relevant and relatable experience.
  • Family Support Workers must have a level 3 qualification or above in Health and Social Care or equivalent, plus relevant and relatable experience in working with children and families directly in the family home.

Our Registration Process

Our registration process comprises of the following three stages:

Stage 1

Once we have received your CV we will check that you meet our selection criteria, and if so, we will contact you to complete a timed case study exercise.

Stage 2

If you are successful in the Stage 1 case study exercise, we will contact you to arrange a suitable time for a telephone interview. If we decide to progress your registration to Stage 3 we will ask you to send all of your compliance documentation to us.

Stage 3

Once in receipt of all of your compliance documentation we will invite you to a group event via Microsoft Teams. The purpose of the group event is for you to understand the WillisPalmer vision, the services we provide and gives you the opportunity to ask any questions.

Following the group event we will issue you with a contract, which confirms the details of working with us as an expert.
