450 primary schools worth of children trapped in temporary accommodation in lockdown
A chronic shortage of affordable housing has resulted in 450 primary schools worth of homeless children being stuck in temporary accommodation during lockdown, the Local Government Association has warned.
According to the latest data for England, there are 127,240 children living in temporary accommodation, including 1,440 households with children in bed and breakfasts.
