Care applications continue to fall
The number of care applications continues to fall, the latest statistics have revealed.
There were 1,021 care applications in June 2019 - a fall of 55 per cent from June 2018 when there were 1,076 applications made to Cafcass.
The 1,021 care applications also fell from the previous month in May 2019 when 1,157 were made.

Care applications plummet
There has been a significant plummet in the number of care applications made, figures have revealed.
In December 2018, there 975 care applications made to Cafcass - compared to 1,022 or a decline of 4.6% since December 2017 and compared to 1,094 in December 2016.

The number of care applications received by Cafcass has reduced by 5 per cent over two years, the latest statistics have shown.
Cafcass received a total of 1,179 new care applications in August 2018 - 5.1% lower than August 2017.
