Diane Wills is Consultant Social Worker at WillisPalmer, responsible for quality assuring the forensic risk assessment reports.
What three words best describe you?
Force. Of. Nature
If you were stuck on a desert island, and could take one person and one object, who and what would they be?
Well I suppose I should say my husband but I’m thinking more Idris Elba and a good book (all bases covered).
Who inspires you and why?
My business/personal development coach – Grace Chatting – she has given me such inspiration and confidence to do things I never thought possible – check her business out – Evolutionary Women.
What is your favourite place in the world?
Lots of places I love but best place ever is Cornwall; there’s nowhere else I’d rather live.
If you were on death row what would your last meal be?
Pizza – I’m easy to please as long as there’s loads of cheese and veggies.
Which celebrity would you want to play the role of you in a film about your life?
Jo Lumley as Patsy.
What music are you currently listening to?
Must admit, don’t listen to much music anymore (long story involving having my heart broken by a musician!) but it has been extremely significant in my life and I did catch myself listening to some Ian Dury the other day which reminded me how amazing he was!
What is your favourite film of all time?
Don’t really do films (attention span of a goldfish which isn’t easily captured by a screen). Love the theatre though – favourite play is Abigail’s party.
What is the best present you have ever been given?
A portable cafetiere mug which my husband gave me! Seriously, when you work away a lot, the ability to have proper coffee cannot be underestimated.
If you could do any job in the world, what would it be?
When I get overwhelmed by the work I actually do, I fantasise about doing something not involving traumatised people and not in a prison so probably something in the outdoors somewhere but I am honestly the least practical person I know so I’d be absolutely useless at anything else!
A look back at 2022 with WillisPalmer's Head of Practice, Lucy Hopkins…
