Sue Lee

I am an experienced social worker working independently with particular interests in assessment of parenting, risk assessments and child protection. I have been a self employed contractor for CAFCASS (and before that the Sussex Panel of Guardians ad Litem and Reporting Officers) since 1998. I also have extensive experience within local authority social services departments having qualified as a social worker in 1980. Most recently I have been responsible for the effective management of a Concurrency Team (part time); allocating and prioritising work to staff; directly responsible for four Senior Social Workers and two Community Family Workers. This job incorporated a good working knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and the Adoption and Children Act 2002.
