I am an experienced social worker and former Children’s Guardian working independently, undertaking assessments for both local authorities and the courts. My main areas of interest/expertise are Parenting and Kinship assessments. I have a comprehensive background in children and family work having qualified as a social worker in 1972. Among my roles I have worked within the Education Social Work Service; Fostering and Adoption; Children and Families teams and in Community Development. I was first appointed to the Inner and North London Panel of Guardians ad litem and Reporting Officers in 1984 and spent almost twenty years representing children's interests in public law cases.
