Derek Frayne

I am an Independent Social Worker of 25 years experience having worked with children and their families in a diverse range of settings. I have specific experience working with child protection enquiries, non-accidental injury investigations; attachment and parenting assessments, including assessments of parents with learning difficulties and/or emotional and behavioural concerns. I have significant court related experience having undertaken both statutory and court related work in this area over the past 15 years. I also have experience working within the residential sector and was previously the manager of a residential unit in Norfolk. I am commissioned to undertake a range of assessments including Parenting skills; kinship and viability reports. I am also familiar with current requirements in statutory work in the areas of both child protection and permanency.
