Ann Haigh

I am a highly experienced independent social worker and Children’s Guardian with extensive experience in adoption, family finding and life story work. For much of the last 28 years I have worked for Barnardo’s as a practitioner and manager. Since 1989 I have also worked as a Children’s Guardian and thus have significant expertise in working directly with children in a variety of contexts. I have a qualification in counselling. For six years I have chaired an Adoption and Fostering panel for a London Borough. I am regularly commissioned as a Consultant and trainer in respect of adoption issues and life story work.
